When I was a child, all problems ended with a single word from my mother. A smile from her was sunshine, her scowl was a bolt of thunder. She was smart, and generous, and honorable without fail. She could work a 10 hour day, still find the time to check my homework, and fix me things for school the next day all before dinner. For the longest time, I thought she was invincible. Above the petty problems that plagued normal people. Until I saw her crying one night... I promised myself I will make it my duty to make her happy but it seems I have not been doing a good job at that lately....
